Cold

It's been so cold the last couple days, but of course no snow. It's just painfully cold with nothing to brighten up the grey. I'm hoping it will snow soon or else just get warm already!

This week I started going to the gym so that I can get back into the habit of running again. I hadn't ran since the summer, so Monday was a little difficult, but yesterday was great and hopefully I'll be able to get up early enough to go again tomorrow morning! I only like to go when it first opens in the morning at 6 a.m. because the rest of the day it's so crowded that I can barely run on the indoor track without getting run over by all the football players training and whatnot!

I'm getting pretty pumped for next school year. Rose and Kara and I are going to be living together in either a 3-bedroom apartment or duplex. We're hoping for the duplex because it's the same price as the 3 bedroom apartment, but they allow pets under 25 pounds so Kara could bring her dog. And maybe I can get a ferret! I've been really missing Scooter (the farm's old ferret) lately and have been watching videos of them on youtube and they're just such great little pets! If I got a girl one I would definitely name her Eris, after the goddess of discord since ferrets are little troublemakers! But yeah, we'll see how that goes.

Tomorrow, Rose and Kara and I are going to the office of the people that own the duplexes and apartments and pay the deposit to hold our spots for next school year!

  1. Exciting times! Hope you get the right place.

Sat Feb 26 - annual Smelt Run in LaConner. 5K and 10K. I am trying to get in condition for the 5k. Christy says she is in for the 10K - but she has to get here in time, it starts at 8:30am. One year she was 5 minutes late and still finished good!

Maybe you two (or others too) will come. I'll get everyone pre-registerd if I know the details. Good food after, here at Rabbit Hollow!

  2. Don't get a rabbit - we take WAY too much time and expect nothing but the best of treatment and plenty of attention and slavery.
